Mitigation Work Experience:

To qualify for full membership you must enter at least two jobs which involve mitigation for marine mammals and have completed within the last 5 years. If you wish to be listed as a MMO on the membership pages you will need to enter two MMO jobs. If you wish to be listed as a PAM operator you will need to enter two PAM jobs. To be listed as both MMO and PAM operator you will need to each two jobs for each category. Any boxes that does not apply to you please enter "None".

Referees:

We require you to tell us about your experience of marine mammal observation and provide us with two referees to verify this. For full membership you must have at least 20 weeks experience of working with marine mammals

About the Marine Mammal Observer Association (MMOA)

mmoa footer logoThe Marine Mammal Observer Association (MMOA) is a membership based association with the aim of bringing together and representing individuals who work commercially and professionally as Marine Mammal Observers (MMOs) and Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Operators who implement mitigation measures to protect marine life during industry operations. The MMOA also provides information to other individuals that have an interest in MMO issues.
